Situated 1 hour north west of Melbourne Airport, Ballarat Turf Club has truly embraced the country to provide a training facility made for the athlete on a holistic level.

BTC have provided Sutton Racing with:
  • Indoor/outdoor living.
  • Outside day paddocks.
  • Sand Roll.
  • 10 horse walker.
  • Full indoor American breezeway style barn
  • 3 hose bays
Among these facilities are a 2400m Grass Course Proper, a 2000m Polytrack, an 1800m Training Grass track, two Sand Tracks, a 50m round Swimming Pool, a Dressage Arena and an exciting 1400m Hill Track. These facilities allow for a unique training approach, aligning with traditional English methods to enhance aerobic fitness.

What you get:

  • Customised training programs tailored to each individual horse backed by the latest technology, and nutritional guidelines.
  • Updates every 7 to 10 days.
  • Feedback direct from the trainer, insider info from work riders/assistants/jockeys. Video logs, physique updates and 24/7 communication via email or phone.
  • Private stable visitations by appointment, mounting yard access on your runners raceday.
